Laundry Aide
For over 60 years, St. Anne Home, a ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America, has been dedicated to the continued healing mission of Jesus Christ by providing a continuum of care and supportive services to adults, their families and their caregivers. We are seeking to hire a Laundry Aide.
- $13.30 to $16.30 per hour based on skills and experience.
- Full-Time schedules available: 6am to 2:30pm or 2:30pm to 11pm.
Qualifications of Laundry Aide:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Criminal background check required.
- Must be able to rotate shifts, work weekends, holidays and accept call to meet the Home’s scheduling needs.
Laundry Aide Workplace Conditions:
- Physical activities that involve standing, walking, lifting, carrying linens and clothing weighting up to 50lbs: pushing and pulling carts, reaching, bending and handling wet and dry clothes.
- Requires manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Requires emotional stability to deal with the oriented and disoriented residents and an understanding attitude to accept extraordinary behaviors of the residents, as well as staff concerns.
Laundry Aide Job Summary:
- Washing and drying laundry.
- Folding and sorting laundry into resident containers.
- Transporting laundry to resident and other facility locations.
