Job Title: Network & Systems Engineer – Field Operations
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Pay rate: $ 26-31 an hour
Salary conversion once perm: $55,000–$60,000
Contract Duration: 6 months contract to hire
Must Have: Min. 1-2 years of experience in Network Operations, any networking certifications
Seeking a hands-on Network & Systems Engineer to support distributed field locations, with approximately 60% travel required. Responsible for onsite installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls, wireless) and Windows/Linux servers. Provides deployment support, upgrades, incident response, and coordination with centralized IT teams to ensure high availability and performance. Requires 2–4+ years of network and systems experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and flexibility to travel extensively.
