Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. This is a long-term contract position within the banking industry, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and influence key initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in Agile methodologies, vendor management, and product delivery while fostering collaboration and driving results.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage projects using Agile frameworks to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to align project objectives and maintain quality standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement product delivery models tailored to business needs.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve project goals and resolve challenges effectively.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Atlassian Jira to track progress and maintain documentation.
• Act as a Scrum Master, guiding teams through Agile practices to enhance productivity.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation within the project environment.
• Provide clear and concise communication across all levels of the organization.
• Monitor project metrics and deliverables to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Serve as a change agent, influencing processes and driving continuous improvement.• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project or product management.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and familiarity with Scrum practices.
• Certified Scrum Master or PMP certification is preferred.
• Strong skills in vendor management and stakeholder engagement.
• Expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Word.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence others effectively.
• Proven track record of successful product delivery and strategic thinking.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
