We are seeking an experienced and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law and litigation, with a proven track record of success in handling complex real estate disputes.
Compensation:
$95,000 - $125,000
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all stages of real estate litigation, including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Conduct legal research and analysis to identify legal issues and develop strategies for clients
- Draft and file legal pleadings, motions, and other documents in state and federal courts
- Attend court hearings and oral arguments, and participate in settlement conferences and negotiations
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of cases and ensure that all deadlines and client needs are met
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to provide the highest level of client service and achieve successful outcomes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, and provide regular updates on case status and developments
- Stay current on changes in real estate law, regulations, and industry trends, and integrate this knowledge into client representation and business development efforts
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state of Michigan
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing real estate law and litigation
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, including property ownership, land use, contracts, and zoning
- Demonstrated success in handling real estate litigation matters, including trials and appeals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to providing the highest level of service and representation
