POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for various inspection, pre, and postproduction processes needed for part conformance and maintaining quality management system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
· Bubble prints and type up Verification records and inspection paperwork templates needed for job packets.
· Type results on inspection records and AS9102s when needed for shipments to customers.
· Assist with PPAP documentation when needed; control plans, inspection data and pFMEAs.
· Maintain SPC data and Gage R & R data required by customer and enter in QC Calc.
· Maintain data in Unipoint system such as: Supplier Quality Records, Training, Calibration and Quality reports as needed.
· Review job paperwork for completeness and scan into system to ensure product traceability.
· Own record retention for completed jobs.
· Update in-process inspection paperwork to assist machinists.
· Special projects in quality area.
· Work with internal customers and assist with problem solving when needed.
· Work with other team members and manufacturing personnel in a cooperative and constructive manner.
· Conform to the company quality management system as documented.
· Any other duties as assigned by management. Assist Quality Manager as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma or GED
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Proficient with Microsoft office programs, SPC exposure, ISO9001:2015, basic metrology, print reading, and geometric tolerancing.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1-3 years machine shop inspection OR 1-3 years supporting Microsoft Office based tasks.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Professional communication, both written and verbal.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Mobility in office setting.
LANGUAGE ABILITY: English
