Role Description The Clinical Aide role at PeopleUsa is a full-time, on-site position located in Glens Falls, NY. The Clinical Aide supports clinical staff by assisting with non-invasive patient care activities, preparing exam rooms, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming and escorting patients, helping with basic patient comfort measures, and accurately documenting information as directed by licensed professionals. The role also involves handling routine administrative tasks such as organizing patient charts, updating records, and supporting scheduling and coordination of services. The Clinical Aide works closely with nurses, physicians, and other team members to ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.\n

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal interaction with patients and clinical staff and accurate documentation.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medicine appropriate for a clinical support role.
- Candidates should possess Research and information-gathering skills to follow clinical instructions, learn protocols, and support quality improvement efforts.
- Candidates should possess Patient Care skills focused on safety, comfort, and respectful, person-centered support.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting, basic computer literacy (EMR familiarity preferred), and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a patient care technician, medical assistant, or similar training program is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, assist with light lifting as needed, and adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
