Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Toxic Torts Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in toxic tort litigation and extensive experience handling cases related to product liability, medical devices, and mass torts. You will be responsible for representing clients in complex legal matters involving environmental and industrial hazards, ensuring that justice is served while upholding high ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in toxic tort cases, including those related to asbestos, silica, and other hazardous materials.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Advocate for clients in court, presenting evidence and arguing cases before judges and juries.
- Collaborate with expert witnesses and other legal professionals to build compelling cases.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting toxic tort litigation.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in toxic tort or product liability litigation.
- Strong knowledge of medical devices and mass tort cases.
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation and work under pressure.
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and ethical practice.
