The team specializes in AAC and Gestalt Language As a small, therapist-run practice, Inspire Connections Therapy provides direct sessions, coaching, trainings, and evaluations.

Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide on-site pediatric services at our Macedonia, OH location, supporting children with diverse sensory, motor, and functional needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating children’s occupational therapy needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress in a clear, timely manner. The role involves collaborating closely with caregivers through coaching and education, coordinating with and other professionals. An emphasis on incorporating neurodiversity-affirming, child-led approaches into therapy sessions, is required. The Occupational Therapist will also contribute to team discussions, participate in trainings and community outreach as needed, and support the development of resources that promote inclusive, functional communication and participation for children and families.

Qualifications

- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Ohio
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric occupational therapy, including sensory integration, fine motor skills, self-regulation, and activities of daily living.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with caregivers and multidisciplinary team members, using family-centered and neurodiversity-affirming practices.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and time management skills to support high-quality, individualized care.
- Clear, compassionate communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Comfort with providing caregiver coaching, participating in trainings, and contributing to community-focused initiatives and resources.
