Job DescriptionPROJECT / PLANNING COORDINATOR (remote from NYC and surrounding areas)
ARC Group seeks a Project Coordinator for a direct client. This is remote but needs someone who lives in NY or the surrounding areas. The Crew / Logistics Coordinator will work with one of the largest global shipping companies involved with the Empire Wind project. Project / Planning Coordinator Duties
- Working with crewing department to manage crew hiring, travel, logistics
- Procurement & management of local hotels, shuttles, catering for crew members
- Procurement and management of local services as required by client
- Contact with crew vessels, tugs at direction of Marine Ops Manager
Project / Planning Coordinator Requirements
- This person will work 12 hr. days and sometimes in 7 days / week (when traveling) and may work a rotating schedule as needed.
- Remote position with occasional travel to onshore sites/hotels during key events.
- 3+ years of admin experience
- Associate/Bachelors degree preferred
- Experience with marine crewing operations is helpful but not required
- Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, process improvement mindset, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel if needed and be on-call for emergency crew requests.
