Location: Amarillo, Texas
\n
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hour options (07:00 - 19:30). 91-day assignment with 20 hours of orientation.

- Medical Surgical unit with 45 beds and daily census of 37 patients
- Patient ratio of 1:6 with support from free-floating charge nurse and house discharge nurse
- Telemetry monitoring handled by centralized unit
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:\n
- \n
- Active RN license (state or compact) required at time of application
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient Medical Surgical experience
- Recent Epic charting experience (within 6 months) required
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
- Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions/PPE, peripheral line care, and nasal cannula
- Willingness to float to units of equal or lesser acuity
- Must reside outside 50-mile radius of the area
