The Supply Chain Specialist is a hands-on, cross-functional role supporting purchasing, inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics across Phoenix Service Partners (“Phoenix”). This position combines responsibilities typically split across Purchasing, Warehouse, and Inventory roles, providing end-to-end support to ensure materials are sourced, received, stored, and issued accurately and on time to support field operations.

\n

Essential Duties

\n


\n

Purchasing & Vendor Coordination

\n

o Source standard and urgent materials to support operations

\n

o Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery timelines

\n

o Review purchase requests and issue purchase orders

\n

o Track open orders, backorders, and lead times; expedite as needed

\n


\n

Inventory & Systems Management

\n

o Create and maintain item records and master data in NetSuite

\n

o Monitor stock levels and investigate discrepancies

\n

o Perform inventory adjustments and resolve negative or zero-balance conditions

\n

o Reconcile receipts, inventory transactions, and invoices

\n

o Validate data flow between systems

\n


\n

Warehouse & Material Handling

\n

o Receive and inspect inbound shipments; match receipts to purchase orders

\n

o Accurately put away materials into designated bins

\n

o Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and bin accuracy

\n

o Perform routine safety checks and ensure proper material handling

\n

o Support local deliveries, pickups, and movement of materials

\n


\n

Shipping, Returns & Rebuilds

\n

o Coordinate outbound shipments and prepare documentation

\n

o Manage vendor returns, exchanges, warranties, and rebuild cores

\n

o Track repair and rebuild items through completion

\n


\n

Documentation & Compliance

\n

o Maintain purchasing and inventory documentation

\n

o Support vendor onboarding (W-9s, MSAs, COIs, etc.)

\n

o Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements

\n


\n

Analysis, Reporting & Optimization

\n

o Analyze inventory trends, slow-moving or obsolete stock, and shrinkage

\n

o Support forecasting and demand planning

\n

o Develop and maintain inventory KPIs

\n

o Assist with month-end close, inventory reconciliation, and overhead allocations

\n

o Support warehouse layout improvements and stockroom optimization

\n


\n

Additional Duties

\n

o Participating in and leading physical inventory counts

\n

o Train new staff on purchasing, receiving, issuing, and inventory processes

\n

o Provide on-call support as required

\n

o Travel to other company locations as needed to assist in inventory counts and special projects as deemed necessary by management

\n


\n

Education, Experience and Training

\n


\n

Required:

\n

o High school diploma or equivalent

\n

o 3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory, or warehouse operations

\n

o ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)

\n

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

\n

o Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

\n

o Valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) per company policy.

\n

o Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

\n


\n

Preferred:

\n

o Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field

\n

o Mechanical aptitude or experience supporting industrial equipment

\n

o Experience in oil & gas, energy, or field-service environments

\n


\n

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

\n

o Ability to lift 10–50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse tasks

\n

o Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in warehouse and outdoor environments

\n

o Ability to operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment

\n

o Required use of PPE, including FRCs, safety glasses, and hearing protection

\n

o High noise environment (>85dbA) will occur with ear protection

\n

o Potential for exposure to hazardous chemicals

\n

o Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including extreme heat and extreme cold

\n

o Ability to maintain different positions, including stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling to accomplish tasks in various environments, including confined spaces

\n

o Ability to type and use computers and other office equipment such as a copier, printer, calendar, telephone, etc.
