GH Engage has been retained by a leading national facilities services provider to appoint an experienced Senior General Manager for one of New York City's premier Class A office towers.
\n
\n
This is a rare opportunity to lead the operations of a landmark commercial property on behalf of a blue-chip real estate client. You'll have full responsibility for engineering, facilities operations, financial performance and client relationships, while leading a high-performing team dedicated to delivering best-in-class service.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership for all facilities operations at a flagship Class A commercial property.
- Lead and develop Engineering Managers, Chief Engineers, Facilities Managers and Building Engineers.
- Own the financial performance of the account, including a multi-million-dollar operating budget and P&L.
- Build trusted relationships with ownership, tenants and executive client stakeholders.
- Drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance and best-in-class customer experience.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs, capital projects and infrastructure improvements.
- Manage vendor partnerships, service contracts and operational performance.
- Champion safety, reliability, continuous improvement and employee development.

What You'll Bring
\n
- \n
- Experience as a Senior General Manager, General Manager, Account Director or similar leadership role within commercial real estate or facilities services.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial building systems and engineering operations.
- Demonstrated success leading large multidisciplinary engineering and facilities teams.
- Experience managing significant operating budgets and P&L.
- Exceptional leadership, communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
- A proven track record delivering operational excellence within Class A commercial real estate.
