Edenbrook North is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team! The successful candidate will support two buildings, Edenbrook North and Edenbrook South.
Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Full-time
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- To provide quality Occupational therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.
- To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation and conduct specialized evaluations as indicated.
- To supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in the implementation of the treatment plan.
- Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)
- Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use
- Guide and educate family members and caregivers
- Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goals
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program.
- Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing.
- Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
