About Prime Value Resale

Prime Value Resale is a growing small business specializing in online and direct-to-customer sales across several product categories.

A major focus of our business is our Loaded Tea Kit product line, which allows customers to purchase convenient kits containing the ingredients needed to prepare flavorful loaded-style teas at home.

In addition to our loaded tea products, Prime Value Resale sells a variety of resale merchandise through online marketplaces, social media, local sales, and vendor events.

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Loaded Tea Kit & E-Commerce Sales Associate to help us continue growing our customer base and sales.

Position Summary

This is more than a traditional retail position.

The Sales Associate will actively help generate new business for Prime Value Resale, with a primary focus on promoting and selling our Loaded Tea Kits and related beverage products.

The employee will interact with customers online and in person, promote products through social media, follow up with potential customers, help manage online listings and orders, and assist with vendor events and other sales opportunities.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys talking with people, is comfortable with social media and online sales, and is excited about helping grow a small business.

Primary Responsibilities – Loaded Tea Kits

The Loaded Tea Kit product line will be a major focus of this position.

Responsibilities include:

• Learn the Prime Value Resale Loaded Tea Kit product line, flavors, options, and preparation instructions
• Help customers choose flavors and products
• Explain how customers prepare their loaded tea kits at home
• Promote new flavors, featured products, bundles, and special offers
• Respond to customer questions and messages
• Follow up with interested and returning customers
• Encourage repeat purchases
• Help develop relationships with regular loaded tea customers
• Promote loaded tea kits through approved social-media channels
• Help create product photos, short videos, posts, and other promotional content
• Assist with seasonal flavor launches and promotions
• Suggest new flavor combinations and product ideas based on customer feedback
• Help prepare products for vendor shows, pop-up events, and other sales opportunities
• Assist customers at vendor events
• Track customer interest and identify popular flavors and products
• Look for opportunities to increase average order size through bundles and appropriate product recommendations

E-Commerce & Resale Responsibilities

The Sales Associate will also assist with other Prime Value Resale products and sales channels.

Duties may include:

• Create and maintain online product listings
• Take clear and attractive product photographs
• Write accurate product descriptions
• Respond to online customer inquiries
• Assist with eBay and other approved marketplace listings
• Promote merchandise through social media
• Follow up with potential buyers
• Help organize and price resale inventory
• Assist with local sales and customer pickups when assigned
• Help prepare merchandise for vendor events
• Identify merchandise with strong resale potential
• Help maintain accurate sales and inventory information

Sales & Customer Development

We want someone who is comfortable actively generating sales, not simply waiting for orders to come in.

The Sales Associate will be encouraged to:

• Build relationships with new and returning customers
• Generate repeat Loaded Tea Kit customers
• Promote new and seasonal flavors
• Introduce customers to products they may enjoy
• Develop new customer leads
• Help grow Prime Value Resale’s online following
• Identify opportunities for group, event, workplace, or larger orders
• Help turn social-media engagement and inquiries into completed purchases
• Meet established individual and team sales goals

Qualifications

Previous sales experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A friendly, outgoing personality
• Motivation to meet and exceed sales goals
• Comfort using social media
• Basic smartphone and computer skills
• Ability to communicate professionally through messages and social media
• Good organizational skills
• Dependability and ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn about Loaded Tea Kits and other Prime Value Resale products
• Ability to work occasional vendor events, including some evenings or weekends

Experience with sales, beverages, e-commerce, social-media marketing, vendor events, eBay, Mercari, Poshmark, Whatnot, Facebook Marketplace, or resale merchandise is a plus but not required.

Compensation

Starting Base Pay: $16.00 per hour

PLUS:

Sales Commission

Eligible employees can earn commission based on qualifying sales they help generate.

Performance Bonuses

Additional incentives may be available for reaching or exceeding established monthly sales goals.

This compensation structure gives motivated employees an opportunity to earn more as they help grow Prime Value Resale.

Schedule

This is initially a part-time position with a flexible schedule.

Hours may vary depending on:

• Customer demand
• Online sales activity
• Loaded Tea Kit promotions
• Inventory needs
• Vendor events
• Seasonal business needs

Some evening and weekend availability may be required.

There may be an opportunity for increased hours and responsibilities as Prime Value Resale continues to grow.
