We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Operations Data and Compensation Architect - Federal to lead strategic initiatives, harness data-driven insights, and drive impactful business improvements in collaboration with multiple business units.

This role will be responsible for developing data infrastructure between the SE Parent company and the SE Federal Subsidiary. In addition, they will lead sales compensation planning & attainment analysis and be a subject matter expert in a broad range of data from multiple lines of business to enable strategic decision making. They will build, maintain, and improve complex systems that aggregate different types of data and tell clear, concise, compelling stories through visualizations.



What do you get to do in this position?



Data Architecture and Analytics

  • Be a subject matter expert and advisor of SE Federal business data for the Sales Operations Team.
  • Execute data quality control and improvement efforts to ensure high quality, reliable information is provided to key stakeholders in a high-growth team.
  • Build and implement reporting infrastructure to provide visibility between SE Parent and SE Federal while maintaining the data sensitivity requirements associated with Schneider Electric parents foreign owned status.
  • Drive data capture and reporting for pipeline analysis, strategic initiatives, and orders and sales reporting including leveraging AI and other automation tools to create robust, complete datasets.
  • Work with data owners globally to manage, maintain, improve and cleanse complex data systems to support discrete and recurring business analyses of cross-business unit data.
  • Advise on and implement KPIs for business measurement.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement data capture improvements and data cleansing efforts.
  • Develop and improve intuitive data systems and actionable data visualizations using Tableau and Salesforce to support Federal leadership and sales rep-level decision making.
  • Enable Federal business efforts by proactively executing data aggregation and analysis to produce intuitive data systems and actionable insights to drive sales focus and growth.
  • Advise on and support business process improvement, primarily through data access and the capabilities/limitations of the data.
  • Implement, maintain, and improve data architecture and interface of business operations tools including:

business performance reporting.

  • Analyze and implement sales enablement tools including account planning, market analysis, capture analysis, customer engagements, and other unique business processes.

Sales Incentives Architecture and Analytics:

  • Advise sales leadership in annual development of Sales Incentive Plans (SIPs) by
    • analyzing market trends and best practices for incorporation into compensation process and structure and
    • translating Go-To-Market strategies and business KPIs into actionable, growth-inducing incentives.
  • Develop and execute data structuring and measurement of SIPs including annual baselining, quota establishment, attainment measurement, and calculation, reporting, and execution of payouts.
  • Address sales compensation questions including plan structure and attainment performance.
  • Measure and analyze sales performance against incentive plans.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Data mining, architecture, and modeling experience in SQL and Alteryx
  • Data visualization experience in Tableau and Salesforce
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Power BI
  • ERP experience with SAP, Oracle, and Dynamics
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Personnel Security Clearance
