Here’s an exciting contract opportunity for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a difference in the lives of elementary students. This position offers a long-term assignment providing comprehensive speech services to a diverse learner population in a positive, well-supported school setting near Pittsford, NY.

In this role, you’ll work full time with an engaged and collaborative team, supporting students’ development and communication goals in a nurturing school environment. Flexible teletherapy options may be available, allowing you to incorporate your skills with technology while maintaining a student-centered approach.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP state licensure and ASHA certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
  • Skills in assessment, IEP development, and implementing individualized therapy for elementary-aged students
  • Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work in a team-focused district
  • Teletherapy experience welcomed but not required

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to K-5 students
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff
  • Monitor and document progress towards IEP objectives
  • Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents and team members
