Job Title: Data Engineer (SQL, Python, Snowflake, Data Analytics) 13+ years of exp

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Qualifications:

• Experience in data engineering, data architecture, data governance, or data quality assurance within financial reporting environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS), including working with and querying complex datasets.
• Experience in compiling, analyzing, and validating financial data using advanced statistical methods and model-driven calculations.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data workflows and pipelines, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience automating data ingestion and reporting processes using programming languages such as Python, R, or Excel VBA.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to present insights effectively.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Snowflake.
• Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and data cataloging tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation) for data profiling and metadata/lineage management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related discipline.
