This role involves operating a tractor to cut and maintain large areas of land on a consistent weekday schedule. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and has hands-on experience with tractor operation and routine tractor maintenance.Pay Range: $18-26/hour, depending on experienceResponsibilities:
- Operate a tractor to mow and maintain large fields and grounds
- Perform pre-operation checks and basic maintenance (e.g., oil changes, blade sharpening, greasing)
- Identify and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is used properly
- Keep daily logs of work completed and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with the team to prioritize work areas
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
- Proven experience operating tractors and mowing equipment
- Strong knowledge of tractor controls/operation and routine tractor maintenance
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and good time management
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude or small engine repair experience
- Familiarity with safety and environmental guidelines related to groundskeeping
