Job DescriptionLHH is partnering with a reputable law firm in Tampa to hire an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for a highly organized professional who excels in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys supporting attorneys and paralegals across a variety real estatge practice areas.
Position Overview
The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the legal team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and filings
- Assist with legal research as requested by attorneys and paralegals
- Apply procedural and filing guidelines across various jurisdictions
- Maintain and organize client files, case documentation, and records
- Provide general administrative support including scheduling, correspondence management, and phone coverage
- Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and internal teams
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Manage multiple deadline-driven tasks efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant handling real estate matters
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (additional education a plus)
- Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Proficiency with legal document preparation and general office technology
