Our client is a leading energy company and the world's largest generator of renewable energy from wind and sun. Join their Engineering and Construction team as an Entry-Level System Planning Engineer, supporting critical renewable energy and transmission projects that power communities and protect the environment.
This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience with solar, wind, battery storage, and transmission projects while working with industry-standard engineering tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and validate engineering drawings and technical datasheets from internal and external sources
- Support power system modeling and technical studies using industry-standard software
- Maintain organized project documentation including drawings, specifications, and equipment data
- Track study progress and coordinate with internal teams and external consultants
- Assist with compliance activities and regulatory requirements
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of engineering data and deliverables
- Contribute to the success of renewable energy project development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field
- 0-5 years of experience in power systems or renewable energy
- Knowledge of electrical power systems fundamentals
- Familiarity with engineering software and modeling tools preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in renewable energy and sustainability
