Security Guard (Property Maintenance Specialist)

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to interact with others
• Patrol industrial and commercial subsidiary company locations of ACNR, Inc. to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and theft
• Ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
• May also be assigned to various locations including the main gate area

Experience

• Up to one (1) year security experience

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Regular and punctual attendance
• Effective communication is required
• Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
• Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Schedule and Physical Demands

• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires (subject to applicant’s religious practices)
• Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule on a 24/7 basis (subject to the applicant’s religious practices)
• Ability/willingness to work any shift assigned
• Ability to lift floor-to-waist and waist-to-overhead
• Ability to push/pull as needed
• Standing, bending, step climbing, crawling and working overhead
• Ability to perform heavy labor and lift 50+ pounds as needed
