Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Project Manager to join our team in the Boston market who will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Duties:
- Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of projects
- Develop project schedules and ensure adherence to timeline
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives
- Manage project budgets and track expenses
- Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders and address any concerns or issues that arise
- Utilize construction management software track project documentation, change orders, and RFIs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or relevant work experience
- 5+ years project management experience in either Mechanical Construction, BMS, or EMS projects
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms is a plus: Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, Automated Logic, or other
- Proficiency in project scheduling software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
