PhotoMules is hiring an Event Team Lead Sales Manager to oversee outdoor youth sports photography events. This is a fast paced, weekend leadership role focused on event operations, sales performance, and team management.
You’ll manage on-site event execution, lead a team of 2–6 staff members, and drive on-site sales at high-energy outdoor sports tournaments. It’s an ideal opportunity for people with backgrounds in customer service, sales, or hospitality (Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, kiosk or booth sales, trade show events, or retail)!
Location: Austin, TX (regional weekend travel required)
Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of 2–6 staff at outdoor sports events

Manage all on-site event operations, setup, and breakdown of tent/booth

Oversee photography, printing, and order fulfillment processes

Drive event sales performance and coach team members on selling

Act as the on-site sales leader and event manager

Engage customers and close sales during events

Troubleshoot issues and make real-time decisions in a fast-paced environment

Complete 1-5 weekly hours of event preparation and coordination (schedule review, staffing confirmation, equipment readiness) outside of event days

Travel to weekend events across Texas and the surrounding region - travel expenses covered
Qualifications

Previous experience as a team lead, supervisor, or event manager

Strong sales background or commission-based sales experience

Comfortable managing people in a fast-paced, outdoor environment

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to stand and work on your feet for long periods

Weekend availability (Friday–Sunday) and limited weekly hours as needed

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel/drive company vehicle
