The Pressure Testing Technician will perform both hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests primarily within laboratory and industrial plant environments. This role focuses on the setup, execution, and quality assurance of pressure testing operations, alongside leak detection and report preparation using both paper-based and proprietary software tools. As an individual contributor, the technician is key to maintaining safety and accuracy standards without travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing accurately
- Set up and calibrate pressure testing equipment
- Perform leak detection and resolve issues promptly
- Prepare detailed reports using paper-based and proprietary software systems
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in pressure testing environments
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of pressure testing techniques including hydrostatic and pneumatic testing
- Understanding of safety procedures related to pressure testing
- Familiarity with equipment calibration
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication abilities
