Crystal Creamery is seeking a Plant Maintenance Supervisor to join our Modesto facility. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our plant operations. Position Summary:
The Plant Maintenance Supervisor oversees and coordinates all maintenance activities within the plant. This position is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, minimizing downtime, optimizing equipment performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

· Lead, mentor, and supervise maintenance technicians

· Assign daily tasks, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations

· Promote a strong safety culture and accountability within the team

Maintenance Operations

· Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs

· Troubleshoot and oversee repairs to ensure timely resolution

· Manage emergency repairs and coordinate with external vendors as needed

Planning & Scheduling

· Create and manage maintenance schedules to support production goals

· Partner with production and engineering teams to minimize operational disruptions

Safety & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

· Conduct routine safety audits and inspections

· Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records

Inventory & Budget Management

· Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies

· Monitor and control maintenance-related expenses

· Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety

Continuous Improvement

· Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics

· Drive process improvements and implement best practices

Collaboration & Communication

· Work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and leadership teams

· Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred

· 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

· 2+ years of supervisory experience required

· Dairy or food manufacturing experience strongly preferred

· Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and equipment

· Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS)

· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Physical & Work Requirements:

· Ability to lift and move heavy objects

· Comfortable working in a plant environment with noise and varying temperatures

· Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed
