Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the flooring industry, is seeking a Regional Retail Sales Manager for a company located in Chesterfield, MO.
Regional Retail Sales Manager Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $75,000-$85,000 plus (DOE)

The Regional Retail Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing retail locations within an assigned region, and leading store teams to achieve revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction goals. This role provides strategic direction, coaching, and operational oversight to ensure consistent execution of company standards and sales initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Monitor KPIs including sales volume, margins, close rates, and average ticket size
- Identify growth opportunities within residential, builder, and commercial markets
- Partner with marketing to implement promotions and local advertising initiatives
- Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers and sales associates
- Conduct regular store visits to provide coaching, performance feedback, and accountability
- Set performance expectations and manage individual and team goals
- Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies, merchandising standards, and pricing strategies
- Oversee inventory management and product assortment alignment
- Review financial reports and manage regional P&L performance
- Address operational challenges and implement corrective action plans
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and service standards
- Support resolution of escalated customer concerns
- Build relationships with key clients, contractors, and builders
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to executive leadership
- Analyze regional trends and recommend strategic improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of retail sales leadership experience (multi-location preferred)
- Experience in flooring, building materials, or home improvement industry strongly preferred
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L
- Ability to travel with the assigned region
