A precision machine shop in Springfield, Ohio is hiring a CNC machinist who can set up and run their own jobs on CNC mills and lathes.

The work: short production runs, so you set up often and are never parked at one machine all day. Programs are written in-house; you edit and adjust at the control. Blueprints with real tolerances, micrometers and inspection equipment every day.

You bring: 3 or more years of CNC machining with your own setups on mills or lathes, blueprint reading with an understanding of tolerances, and the ability to work independently.

Pay and benefits: $22 to $25 per hour, first shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, overtime available and never forced, 80% company-paid health insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, low turnover.
