Job DescriptionPosition Overview

Join our dynamic team in Great Neck, NY, as a motivated IT support professional. We are looking for a candidate with a solid technical background, outstanding communication skills, and an eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric environment. This role is based in our Great Neck office and requires personal transportation for occasional travel to client sites in the local area.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the initial point of contact for client IT support requests through phone, email, and our ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to workstations, networks, and common business applications.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level engineers when necessary.
  • Assist with user setup, password resets, software installations, and system updates.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records within our ticketing system.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles (internships are considered).
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Own reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools like ConnectWise or Datto.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certification.
