Job Description
Our Technicians will travel extensively with one of our two crews, servicing regions including North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and occasionally Colorado. This role involves 100% travel work from Monday to Friday, with an effort to return by Thursday, allowing for a long weekend. We seek candidates with mechanical experience who are comfortable with travel.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble and reassemble air seeding equipment to repair, test operation, and make necessary adjustments.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools, including cutting tools.
- Use reasoning skills to solve problems as they arise.
- Determine the correct tools and processes to effectively complete mechanical tasks.
- Ensure the cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the work environment.
- Meet at the shop in Fargo on Monday, travel in a company truck with a crew to the job site, and return by Thursday or Friday.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with assembly, repair, and service of equipment.
- Electrical and hydraulic knowledge.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Field service experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience and technical knowledge of equipment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Willingness and ability to travel.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
