Job Description
Salary Range - $200,000 - $275,000
An AmLaw Firm is seeking an attorney with at least three years of experience for an in-house position in the Office of the General Counsel in New York City (Midtown Manhattan) office.
Primary duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to researching and analyzing ethical rules and related legal questions, reviewing and editing agreements with clients and third parties, drafting and enforcing Firm policy and protocol, assessing and advising on client and business conflicts, responding to discovery requests, assisting with potential claims and litigation, and assisting in creating trainings and delivering presentations.
The ideal candidate would be familiar with ethics rules, willing to take on a variety of tasks with significant responsibility, and possess excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills. Law firm experience preferred. New York State Bar is required.
All candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and graduated from one of the top 50 U.S. law schools. Candidates must have worked for a well-known law firm unless noted otherwise in the job description.
