Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $15 - $15 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Custodian:
- Facility Cleaning: Execute daily sanitation of clubhouses, lobby, fitness center, and restrooms, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Routine Maintenance: Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, patching drywall, and adjusting gate locks
- Amenity Care: Conduct regular inspections of pool areas, common areas and fitness centers; assist with maintaining pool cleanliness as needed
- Grounds Upkeep: Maintain exterior pathways by removing litter, pressure washing sidewalks, and performing light landscaping or snow removal as needed
- Event Support: Set up and break down furniture for community meetings, socials, and private events held in common areas
- Inventory & Safety: Monitor supplies and submit replenishment requests; identify and report any major structural issues or safety hazards to management immediately
- Resident Interaction: Provide professional, polite assistance to residents and ensure all work is performed with minimal disruption to the community

Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- Education: High school diploma
- Experience: [1–3] years of maintenance and custodial experience. Experience with property maintenance preferred
- Proficiency with use and basic maintenance of hand/power tools, cleaning equipment, and pressure washers
- Proficiency in the application of cleaning procedures and the safe, compliant use of chemical agents
- Basic knowledge of high touch point sanitation practices
- Interpersonal: Strong communication skills for coordinating with supervisors and responding to resident inquiries
- Certifications: Valid Driver's License required
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50–60 pounds unassisted
- Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and climb ladders to perform repairs
- Background Check Required and Drug test required
