Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an entry-level engineer for our Boise office. As part of our design and process teams, you will work on water and wastewater projects, including drinking water/wastewater/reuse treatment facility upgrades and conveyance systems planning and design with potential opportunities with wellfields, stormwater management, water resources, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including sampling studies, condition assessments, process modeling, hydraulics, and design reports
- Manage data for process modeling and design
- Attend client and internal project management meetings
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment
- Support multiple projects from planning through construction
- Participate in fieldwork and site visits (mostly in-state)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering
- Coursework background in water/wastewater treatment with strong interest in the water/wastewater industry
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 0-2 years of relevant experience within the water/wastewater industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- EIT certification
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in environmental, civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering
- Conducts self-quality reviews before submitting work for additional QA/QC
