Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Montebello, CA
Schedule: Full-time
Pay: $18. - $20
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Administrative Assistant to support our Maintenance Department with daily administrative, scheduling, and documentation tasks. This role is essential in keeping processes efficient, accurate, and compliant with all safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
Daily Duties Include:
- Prepare daily time and attendance records for the maintenance team.
- Maintain the work calendar and maintenance schedule.
- Develop and update databases, logs, and tracking systems for department operations.
- Enter daily service data and generate required reports.
- Assist the Maintenance team by contacting internal/external suppliers for parts, components, or troubleshooting needs.
- Support training activities and maintain updated training records.
- Maintain filing systems including maintenance history, work orders, inspection forms, operator reports, and safety/quality documentation.
- Perform administrative tasks such as receiving and distributing correspondence, entering invoices and materials, preparing documents, and maintaining invoice/payment records.
- Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and distribute supporting materials.
- Monitor for safety hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, including restocking when needed.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, standing, pulling, pushing, bending, and squatting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Flexibility in work hours based on department needs.
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Basic computer skills and typing.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
