Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Systems / ERP Support Specialist to join our IT operations team, to manage and support our systems within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is heavily focused on day-to-day operational support, ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our systems infrastructure, supporting cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in system processes. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with SQL, a strong understanding of ERP systems, and a passion for solving technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support for ERP users across manufacturing, finance, inventory, and operations departments.
• Maintain and optimize the ERP database, including backups, performance tuning, and patch management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze business requirements and configure ERP modules accordingly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues, coordinating with Syspro support when necessary.
• Assist in ERP upgrades, module implementations, and integrations with other systems (e.g., CRM, MES, WMS).
• Deploy and manage applications in Docker containers. Optimize Docker configurations for development and production environment.
• Develop and maintain documentation for ERP configurations, workflows, and user training materials.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls and industry regulations.
• Support reporting and data extraction needs using ERP tools and SQL queries.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance ERP functionality and business efficiency.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2 + years of experience in a Systems Engineer, IT Operations, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of ERP workflows and modules in manufacturing, including BOMs, work orders, inventory, production planning, and General Ledger, etc.
• Proven Experience in database management with Strong SQL skills: ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and perform performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and integrating custom applications with ERP
• Solid understanding of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Crystal Reports or Power BI.
• Experience working with 3rd party IT vendors and managing vendor relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scripting languages
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
• Experience with data integration tools and APIs.
• Experience with Syspro customization tools (e.g., e.net Solutions, Workflow Services).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and lean principles.
• Experience with system integrations and API usage.
