Qualifications & Experience:
- Active substitute certification with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
- Previous experience in a school or behavioral support setting essential
- Willingness to complete district-specific fingerprinting for compliance
- Access to reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and dedication to student success
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent 1:1 academic, behavioral, and social support to a designated student at the elementary school level
- Assist with adapting classroom activities and materials for student needs
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and related service providers
- Monitor student engagement and well-being throughout the day
- Support student participation in classroom routines, transitions, and activities
- Maintain accurate records of services provided as needed
- Follow all district protocols and safety guidelines
Schedule & Assignment Details:
- Contract role with immediate start, continuing through the end of October
- School day hours: 9:00 AM – 4:25 PM, Monday through Friday
- Work on-site at an elementary school with daily opportunities to impact student learning
