Schedule

Travel: Within approximately a 60-mile radius.
Responsibilities
Caregivers offer caring, hands-on support to clients in their homes and in the community. Responsibilities may include:
- Helping with bathing, grooming, and other personal care
- Supporting clients with daily living activities
- Preparing meals
- Doing light housekeeping and laundry
- Providing companionship and respite care
- Driving clients, shopping, and running errands
- Reminding clients to take their medications
- Assisting clients with moving around and walking
- Reporting any changes in a client’s condition or unusual incidents
- Responding appropriately in emergencies
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous personal care, home care, hospital, nursing home, or direct-care experience preferred
- Compassionate and dependable approach to client care
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Successful completion of a required criminal history check
