JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Beverage Supervisor POSITION #: 223236
DEPARTMENT: Beverage – Casino and Hotel
DIVISION: Food and Beverage
REPORTS TO: Beverage Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Supervisor for the Beverage Department in the casino and hotel. Handles guest complaints; immediate supervisor for crewmembers engaged in selling/distributing alcoholic beverages; ensures the safe distribution of alcoholic beverages.
TASKS:
1. Provide direct support for all crewmembers in the Beverage Department for a given shift.
2. Responsible for the safe distribution of alcoholic beverages, ensuring prompt, proper service from all in the Beverage Department on a given shift.
3. Implements directives handed down from the Beverage Manager to the crewmembers.
4. Other tasks as requested by management.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two year’s beverage experience.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: Stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills.
HAZARDS:
Include, but are not limited to: back strain, high noise levels, exposure to cigarette smoke, crowds.
