RN - Neonatal ICU
\n
Job Details:
\n
• Work 3x12-hour night shifts per week
\n • 36 guaranteed hours per week
\n • Minimum 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in a Level 3 NICU or higher required
\n • Ventilator training required
\n • Prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment required
\n • Required certifications: BLS, NRP
\n • Must be able to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse license prior to hire
\n • Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
\n • Call requirements to be discussed during interview
\n • May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
\n • Required to pick up one additional shift during each schedule period
\n • Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
\n • Deliver individualized patient care and coordinate care between other healthcare professionals as needed

This facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, treating over 80,000 emergency and trauma patients per year across two emergency departments. The facility is home to the region's only children's hospital, a leading robotic surgery institute, and comprehensive heart and cancer services. The organization has pioneered several medical advancements in the area, including the first accredited heart failure center, the first Institute for Neurosciences, and the first low-dose CT imaging, Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, PET/CT scanner, Biplane Angiography, and 3T MRI technologies in the region.
