Top Shooters is hiring a driven, experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our leadership team. As a high-volume operation, were looking for someone who can lead by example, support daily operations, and elevate both team and guest experiences.

In this role, you'll directly supervise three managers and work alongside the General Manager to oversee both front- and back-of-house operations.

Your Role

The AGM plays a critical role in ensuring smooth service, strong leadership, and consistent operations across shifts. This position includes hands-on floor management, staff development, and administrative support to ensure all areas of the business run efficiently.



Key Responsibilities:



Operations & Floor Management

  • Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations
  • Approve FOH and kitchen schedules; ensure shift coverage and compliance
  • Lead shifts as Manager on Duty, maintaining pace and service quality
  • Manage inventory, opening/closing duties, and real-time issue resolution

Team Leadership

  • Supervise a team of 3 direct-report managers
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching staff
  • Foster accountability and team morale across departments
  • Support a culture of professionalism, respect, and performance

Guest Experience

  • Monitor FOH/bar service and table turns to ensure high-quality experiences
  • Proactively handle guest issues and complaints with professionalism
  • Set the tone for hospitality and service standards

Administrative & Financial Oversight

  • Support daily sales reporting, labor tracking, and tip compliance
  • Perform drawer/safe counts and cash handling as needed
  • Maintain compliance logs, tip sheets, and incident reports

Compliance & Cleanliness

  • Enforce all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations
  • Complete and oversee daily safety and cleanliness checklists

Communication & Collaboration

  • Participate in weekly leadership meetings
  • Help roll out promotions, events, and company procedures
  • Maintain strong collaboration between FOH and kitchen teams


What Youll Need

  • 2+ years of bar/restaurant management or supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Up-to-date or ability to obtain:
    • Illinois BASSET Certification
    • Illinois Food Handler Certification
    • Illinois Allergen Awareness Certification
    • Illinois Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
