Job Title: General Store Manager – Tea Brand
Locations:

(Primary store assignment will be based on candidate profile and business needs; occasional support across locations may be required.)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $70,000+per year ( plus bonus)

We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on General Store Manager who can independently run an entire store, build a strong team from the ground up, and grow with us into multi-store operations leadership or even partnership.
Position Overview
As the General Store Manager, you will be fully responsible for the store’s:
Sales, profitability, operations, team performance, guest experience, product quality, and brand reputation.
This is a true ownership-style leadership role, working closely with the owner and
acting as the “operator” of the store.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations & Performance
· Oversee all day-to-day operations: opening/closing, floor management, cash handling, cleanliness, and safety
· Create and manage staff schedules based on traffic patterns and labor budgets
· Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and implement improvement plans
· Achieve sales, margin, and labor cost targets
Team Building & Leadership
· Recruit, interview, and build a high-performing team (baristas / bobaristas / shift leads)
· Train and coach team members on drink preparation, service standards, SOPs, and store procedures
· Develop shift leaders and potential future managers to support future growth
· Conduct regular feedback, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
Guest Experience & Brand Reputation
· Lead by example and deliver outstanding hospitality
· Handle guest complaints and service recovery professionally
· Monitor and improve online reviews (Google, Yelp, etc.)
· Help build a friendly, community-oriented store culture
Product Quality & Food Safety
· Ensure all drinks are prepared according to recipes and quality standards
· Enforce food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with local regulations
· Manage storage, labeling, and expiration of ingredients and products
Inventory Management & Cost Control
· Handle ordering, receiving, stock rotation, and inventory counts
· Track and reduce waste and product loss
· Support optimization of COGS and labor costs with basic data analysis
Standardization & Future Expansion
· Help build and refine store SOPs and training materials
· Support new store openings when needed
· Contribute to creating a scalable model for multi-unit operations
Requirements Experience
· 5+ years of experience in F&B ( tea, coffee, quick service, dessert, or similar)
· 3+ years in a store management / assistant manager / supervisory role
· New store opening experience is a strong plus
Skills & Abilities
· Strong leadership and people management skills; able to lead teams of 8–15+
Languages
· Bilingual in English and Mandarin
· High sense of ownership, integrity, and accountability
· Strong problem-solving mindset and composure under pressure
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Availability & Physical Requirements
· Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
· Able to stand for long periods and lift up to ~30–40 lbs
Compensation & Benefits
· Base Salary: $70,000+ per year (depending on experience)
