Seniors Helping Seniors Jersey Shore North is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Companion to join our team in Monmouth County. This role involves providing personalized, non-medical care and companionship to seniors in the Manalapan, NJ area, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' condition or routine
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or companion roles preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
