SUMMARY
Supervises and coordinates activities and operations of the mechanical machines, arcade machines, and remote-control amusements within the operation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises and organizes arcade areas and its staff activities
- Supervises operation, providing high-quality guest service and maintaining merchandising and cleanliness standards
- Works to achieve company objectives regarding arcade sales budget
- Assists senior and on-site management with arcade projects
- Assist guests and perform minor or major repairs on various machines without the assistance of a mechanic on duty
- Ensures inventory and shrink goals are achieved
- Maintains appropriate spare parts levels to effectively minimize downtime of the machines or remotes
- Order placement with appropriate vendors and distributors to ensure timely delivery of goods for redemption, cranes, and dispensers
- Ensures operation is fully stocked and that merchandise and visual standards are met
- Maintains a high level of guest service by ensuring that merchandising/recovery is completed
- Ensures complaints from guests are quickly resolved
- Works with Games Manager to develop creative plans to increase operation sales
- Provides training and evaluative feedback to all arcade staff
- Trains, supervises, motivates, and develops arcade staff
- Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures
- Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates
- Supervises the unloading of trucks, sorting of merchandise, stocking the prize hub, redemption counters, and cranes
- Carries out related duties in other operations throughout the United States to support the needs of the Company
- Ensures that the site operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Conducts self in a positive manner when dealing with park personnel, guests, and vendors
- Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas, and taking corrective actions
- Prepares all necessary reports and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Directly supervises up to 10 employees within the arcade operation
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- One to two years related experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of shrink reductions plans
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
