A to Z Statewide Plumbing is a fast-growing, professional company that takes pride in keeping our fleet and equipment running at peak performance. We’re looking for a skilled Gas, Diesel & Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team and help maintain our trucks, equipment, and machinery.
Position Overview:
The Gas, Diesel & Heavy Duty Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and heavy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, filters, etc.)
- Repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other major components
- Maintain service records and work orders
- Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety and compliance
- Respond to breakdowns as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience as a diesel/heavy-duty mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with fleet maintenance (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
- Own tools
