Job Description

Ivybrook Academy is a progressive Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired half-day preschool that welcomes students from 18 months to five years of age. Our school begins our academic year in August 2025 (second year in operation)

School hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm (morning session: 8:30am - 12pm, afternoon session: 1pm - 4:30pm)

Our program follows the public-school calendar over ten months (AUG - MAY)

We offer a summer camp program for students two-six years of age - employment over the summer is dependent on desire to work over the summer as well as student enrollment

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated preschool administrator for our Gahanna campus who are committed to progressive, high-quality education. Our school provides a professional and supportive environment, allowing educators to focus on igniting the joy of learning in their students.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility

· Establish a safe, healthy, and welcoming preschool setting and oversee programs and activities to engage and educate young children.

· Develop open lines of communication with educators, parents, and students—and conduct one-on-one meetings with parents to discuss each child's progress.

· Build and support a qualified team of early childhood educators to continually enhance our superior reputation in early-childhood education.

· Manage teaching staff, leading curriculum as outlined by franchisor, teaching Discovery enrichment program

· Participate in marketing events, campaigns, and community relations.

· Provide unparalleled customer service

Requirements:

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field

Experience in an Administrative role.

Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, publisher, and power point
