Bayou Brass NOLA, a local handmade jewelry business, is looking for a outgoing, friendly, dependable, and sales-focused Retail Associate to join our team at the Frenchmen Art Bazaar — one of the most vibrant and creative outdoor art markets in the country. If you love connecting with people, appreciate handcrafted jewelry, and enjoy being part of a lively, artistic community, this job is perfect for you!
What You’ll Do
• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming shopping experience
• Drive sales through genuine conversation, product knowledge, and great customer service
• Learn and share the stories behind our handmade jewelry (training provided)
• Help customers pick out unique pieces for themselves or as gifts
• Handle cash and digital payments with accuracy and care
• Set up and break down our booth; keep displays organized, clean, and visually appealing
• Assist with inventory tracking and restocking
• Represent Bayou Brass NOLA with pride, professionalism, and kindness

• Dependable & punctual — reliable for scheduled market shifts
• Sales-minded — comfortable engaging customers and helping close purchases. Comfortable working outside.
