Our esteemed legal firm is seeking an experienced Permanent Paralegal to join our dynamic team. We are a fast-paced, results-oriented company that prides itself on delivering high-quality legal services. The ideal candidate will be a skilled multi-tasker, able to handle a variety of tasks with efficiency and professionalism. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in the legal field, with a strong background in document review, legal documentation, legal research, case management, time management, client interaction, litigation support, and project management.
Responsibilities:
The Permanent Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting our legal team by performing a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Conducting extensive legal research and document review to aid in case preparation and strategy development.
2. Preparing and managing legal documentation, ensuring all paperwork is current, properly filed, and easily accessible.
3. Managing case files from inception through resolution, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
4. Interacting with clients professionally, addressing their queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
5. Providing litigation support, including preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.
6. Managing projects effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
7. Collaborating with the legal team to develop case strategies, streamline processes, and improve client outcomes.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Paralegal position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. 4+ years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within the legal industry.
2. Proven experience with document review, legal documentation, legal research, case management, time management, client interaction, litigation support, and project management.
3. Utah State and Federal E-filing experience
4. PowerPoint experience required
5. A high level of proficiency in legal research tools and software.
6. A keen attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
7. A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
8. A degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field is preferred.
