Location: Brooklyn (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Duration: 1 Year Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple workstreams for a large-scale, customer-facing service management platform. This role will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, managing risks, coordinating releases, and ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex IT projects in structured environments and will be comfortable working with cross-functional teams, leadership stakeholders, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations

  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery

  • Identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks early and implement mitigation strategies

  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution

  • Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and provide status updates to leadership

  • Support program intake, quarterly planning, and release management activities

  • Work closely with Product Managers to plan and deliver new features without compromising quality

  • Manage release coordination across environments, including resolving conflicts and dependencies

  • Follow change management processes to ensure successful production deployments

  • Coordinate and manage production outages, ensuring timely resolution

  • Act as the primary escalation point for project-related issues

  • Drive Agile delivery practices across multidisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Public Administration, or related field

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience managing complex IT projects

  • Experience working in public sector or highly regulated environments (preferred)

  • Strong ability to break down large initiatives into manageable tasks and dependencies

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams with competing priorities

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar project management tools

  • Strong understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies

  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies
