Our client seeks a motivated Property Manager to join their team.
This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity where you will earn up to $70,000/year, based on your experience, plus bonuses! You will work Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.
As a Property Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Accounting
- Reporting/budgeting
- Overall physical condition of the property
- Managing multifamily location
- Managing five direct reports
- Providing the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the units
- Achieving retention goals
- Resolving any concerns/complaints in a timely manner
- Developing, producing and coordinating resident communications
- Evaluating the appearance of the property
- Internal and external marketing efforts
- Meeting occupancy goals
- Surveying the market for rent specials
- Developing appropriate programs for the property
- Processing work orders for the maintenance department
- Managing tax credit files
- Driving to assigned properties and locations
- Overseeing property and staff is in compliance with Fair Housing and applicable Tax Credit laws
- Interviewing, hiring and training employees
To be considered, you must have previous marketing or management experience. In addition, you must have:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- Leadership skills
- Strong attention to details
- Math skills – ability to calculate figures and amounts including but not limited to discounts, interest, commissions, percentages and basic concepts of algebra
- Proficiency in Excel and basic knowledge of other Microsoft Office products
- Aptitude for learning new software
- Organizational skills and support
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Valid Iowa driver’s license and personal liability insurance
