We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper/Porter to join our team at our apartment community. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Employment Type: Full-time
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the community grounds, parking areas, breezeways, and common areas
- Perform daily trash removal from designated areas
- Sweep, blow, and pick up litter throughout the property
- Pressure wash sidewalks, breezeways, curbs, and other common areas as needed
- Perform light lawn maintenance.
- Assist with basic cleaning of vacant apartments (light cleaning only)
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Support the maintenance team as needed
- Ensure the community is tidy, safe, and professional at all times
Qualifications
- Previous groundskeeping, porter, janitorial, landscaping, or maintenance-related experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically able to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
