Safety Gate Requirements (Strict Compliance)
To ensure the safety of our drivers, cargo, and the public, we enforce the following non-negotiable qualifications. All applicants must meet these criteria to be considered:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Accident Record: No more than 1 preventable accident, regardless of fault classification, within the past 2 years.
- Violation Record: No more than 2 moving violations within the past 2 years.
- Serious Offenses: Zero DUIs or drug-related offenses within the past 5 years, and no history of reckless driving.
- License: Valid and current Class A CDL with proper endorsements as required by federal law.
- Background: Clean criminal background check and successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Core Responsibilities
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination in strict compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel purchases using electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, providing real-time updates on progress and any delays.
- Manage delivery schedules, ensuring all appointments are met with a focus on punctuality.
- Keep the vehicle and cab clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Handle all paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts, with precision.
- Respond professionally to any unexpected situations, prioritizing safety above all else.
